The Reiki Effect
What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan during the early 1900s. The word Reiki comes from a combination of the Japanese words Rei (meaning “free passage”) and Ki (meaning “universal life energy”). Therefore, Reiki aims to facilitate free universal energy during a healing session to balance bio-fields or energy fields that surround the person's body.
How is Reiki Compared to Everyday Life?
I've been lucky enough to be practicing reiki for 5yrs now and have met some truly amazing people along the way.
What surprises me the most is how reiki calls to ones soul to help them heal, to see the light, to work out the next step.
Reiki sessions help calm your state of being, your mindset so that you can find a connection to why situations in your life are happening the way they are and reiki gives you the ability to deal with the situation.
It doesn't solve your problem instantly, but instead it allows you to gather your thoughts from deep meditation to help guide you.
Reiki isn't a cult, a religion. Reiki is universal energy, its religion is love and its power is to awaken your soul and listen. I hope one day the beauty of reiki opens up your soul.
