Connie comes to us from Chile as an experienced Physiotherapist specialising in neurological injuries. She has been working as a Physiotherapist for the last 10 years treating people of all ages with a range of injuries. She is currently in the process of organising her Physiotherapy registration to work in Australia. For now she is offering a range of relaxation massage therapies.

I am a specialist in neurological diseases. I have 10 years of experience working with patients with neurological injuries. I have had the privilege of treating people of all ages, but the common factor among them is pain caused mainly by muscle contractures. I have realised that people tend to normalise pain due to various factors such as blows, overexertion, increased muscle tone, bad posture, lack of rest, or a too-sedentary life. Contractures can make it difficult for a person to complete daily tasks and lead to feelings of frustration and stress. A contracture can also cause joint stiffness, limited range of motion, and decreased functionality. It is very gratifying for me when these problems are solved with a bit of massage or exercises during a treatment session. This helps release the stress for my clients at both a physically and an emotionally level.
